معرفی
Dr. Yoo Jung Sohn is a researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich's Institute of Energy Materials and Devices (IMD), specifically within the Materials Synthesis and Manufacturing Processes group (IMD-2). Based at the Wilhelm-Johnen-Straße campus in Jülich, Germany, she operates from Building 01.3z, Room 5006, contributing to Germany's premier national research infrastructure under the Helmholtz Association.
Her research focuses on advanced materials engineering for energy applications, with specialization in synthesis methodologies and scalable manufacturing techniques. The work intersects with photovoltaics, electrochemical systems, and nanomaterials development, supporting Jülich's strategic priorities in sustainable energy solutions. Her group collaborates extensively with the Helmholtz Institute Münster (HI MS) on ion conductors for energy storage.
Operating within a multidisciplinary environment, Dr. Sohn's work connects with Jülich's neutron science facilities (JCNS) and supercomputing resources (JSC) for materials characterization and simulation. The institute maintains strong ties with industry partners through Jülich's Innovation & Technology Transfer division for commercialization of energy materials research.
