Yongliang Yang is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath, affiliated with the Centre for the Analysis of Motion, Entertainment Research & Applications (CAMERA). His research spans computer graphics, shape understanding, and computational design with applications in 3D vision and geometric processing.
His primary research focuses on developing shape analysis and optimization algorithms for geometric structures, with recent work emphasizing neural radiance fields, point cloud processing, and generative adversarial networks. Key contributions include novel approaches to dynamic scene representation, facial inpainting, and surface approximation techniques.
