Yongjun Josh Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Sociology and the Institute for Advanced Computational Science (IACS) at Stony Brook University. He holds affiliations in the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies, the AI Innovation Institute, and the Center for Changing System of Power. His research integrates computational methods with big data to study social, political, and organizational behavior, focusing on mobility, segregation, polarization, and AI applications in social science.
