Yoko Sakurauchi is an Assistant Professor of Japanese at Pacific University. Her research focuses on intercultural communication, culture learning, early language education, and language pedagogy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education from Shimane University (1998)
- Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Portland State University (2004)
- Doctorate degree (EdD) from Portland State University (2014)
She currently serves as president of the Association of Teachers of Japanese in Oregon (ATJO), contributing to regional language education initiatives.
