Dr. Yogachandran Rahulamathavan is a Reader in Cybersecurity and Privacy at Loughborough University London. He joined the university in 2016 as a Lecturer and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2020. Prior to this, he was a Research Fellow at City, University London, leading signal processing research in encrypted domains.

His research focuses on Cybersecurity, Privacy, Signal Processing, and Artificial Intelligence, with applications in encrypted domain analysis and data analytics. He led the security and privacy work package for the European Commission-funded project 'SpeechXrays' and currently directs a team of three Ph.D. students while serving as principal investigator for an Airbus Defense-supported industry-funded project.
Rahulamathavan is also the Programme Director for the MSc in Cyber Security and Data Analytics at Loughborough University London. He received the British Council’s UK-India research funding in 2017, facilitating collaboration between Loughborough University, City University London, and IIT Kharagpur.
