Prof. Yoany Beldarrain, PhD, serves as a Professor at Reutlingen University's ESB Business School where she holds multiple leadership roles including Head of Languages for the BSc International Business, MSc International Business Development, MSc International Accounting, Controlling and Taxation, and MBA International Management Full-Time programs. She also leads the AACSB accreditation's Assurance of Learning (AoL) initiative and serves as the Equal Opportunities Representative for Reutlingen University's Diversity department.
Her research focuses on critical contemporary business issues including business communication in virtual environments, intercultural virtual teaming, workforce agility, digital upskilling for workplace inclusion, women in leadership roles, and compensating for nonverbal cues in virtual settings. Dr. Beldarrain has developed expertise at the intersection of digital transformation and human resource management, with recent publications examining HR agility in SMEs and cross-cultural remote work satisfaction.
Her scholarly work demonstrates consistent focus on how organizations can adapt communication and management practices in increasingly digital and globalized business environments. The research shows particular attention to cultural dimensions of virtual collaboration and strategies for maintaining effective communication when physical presence is limited.
