Yixin Guo

Yixin Guo is Associate Professor in Drexel University's Department of Mathematics, specializing in biomathematics and dynamical systems. She holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and completed postdoctoral training at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute.

Her research applies mathematical modeling to neurological systems, including Parkinson's disease mechanisms, thalamocortical relay dynamics, and deep brain stimulation protocols. Guo has developed neural network models examining basal ganglia modulation and synchronization phenomena in pathological states.

She teaches graduate courses in ordinary differential equations and mathematical neuroscience, and undergraduate courses spanning differential equations to probability theory.
