Ying Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at the College of Computing and Software Engineering, Kennesaw State University. Her research integrates extended reality (XR) and machine learning to develop intelligent AR/VR systems that leverage environmental sensing and user behavior modeling for immersive, personalized experiences.

Research Focus: Dr. Chen pioneers adaptive XR systems, SLAM optimization, and edge-assisted computing. Her work addresses resource constraints in mobile VR/AR through predictive modeling and machine learning, enhancing real-time interactions and system efficiency across IoT environments.
