Dr. Yih-Kai Chan is a Program Manager and Research Fellow at the Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research, Australian Catholic University, Melbourne. He is part of the Behaviour, Environment and Cognition Research Program, where he leads and contributes to large-scale, multicentre clinical and health services research initiatives focusing on cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and metabolic disorders.
His research expertise lies in designing and implementing randomized controlled trials (RCTs), applied health economics, health policy, and research governance. He has played a key role in major NHMRC-funded projects and international collaborations such as the MOZART Disease Surveillance Study in Mozambique, ensuring high standards in data collection and management.
