معرفی
Yichi Zhang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Energy, Aalborg University (Denmark), specializing in power electronics reliability. His research focuses on failure mechanisms, degradation modeling, and condition monitoring of semiconductor switches. He holds a B.S. from Shenyang Agricultural University (2017), an M.S. from Southwest Jiaotong University (2021), and a Ph.D. from Aalborg University (2024). He also completed a visiting research stint at RWTH Aachen's Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) in 2024.
Education:
- B.S. Electrical Engineering, Shenyang Agricultural University (2017)
- M.S. Power Electronics, Southwest Jiaotong University (2021)
- Ph.D. Power Electronics, Aalborg University (2024)
Research Interests: Zhang’s work integrates physics-informed and data-driven approaches to study semiconductor degradation. Key areas include thermal modeling of SiC MOSFETs, metallized film capacitor failure mechanisms, and real-time condition monitoring techniques.
Grants & Projects: Lead PI of the Physics-informed Data-driven Methods for Reliability Test and Analysis of Semiconductor Switches (2021–2024), funded by Aalborg University.
Labs/Teams: Active in the Applied Power Electronic Systems group at AAU Energy, collaborating with institutions like RWTH Aachen.
