Dr. Yi Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the TSYS School of Computer Science at Columbus State University. He received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Beijing University of Technology in 2006 and 2010, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Auburn University in 2018.
Research Interests:
- Energy-saving techniques and modeling in database systems
- Cloud computing, including deduplication-based backup systems
- Edge computing
- Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Parallel and distributed systems
- Database systems
