Yi-Meng Yen

Yi-Meng Yen, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and serves as an Orthopedic Surgeon in the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department at Boston Children's Hospital. She holds dual appointments as both an Orthopedic Surgeon in the Sports Medicine Division and as Ortho Consultant/Team Physician for Regis College. Her clinical practice spans multiple Boston-area locations including Boston Children's Hospital main campus (319 Longwood Avenue), Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department (300 Longwood Avenue), and the Waltham campus (9 Hope Avenue).

Dr. Yen's research focuses on pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine with particular expertise in hip preservation, knee arthroscopy, and pediatric fracture management. Her work examines critical anatomical considerations in developing joints, surgical outcomes in adolescent athletes, and complications prevention in pediatric orthopedic procedures.
