Yi Ding

Dr. Yi Ding is an Associate Professor in the Information Systems Management and Analytics Group at Warwick Business School (University of Warwick). She holds a PhD in Information Systems and Analytics from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor's degree from Fudan University, China. Her research focuses on the social impact of emerging technologies, AI, and fintech, employing econometrics, machine learning, and experimental methods. Key contributions include analyzing disaster impacts on microlending, voice features in customer retention, dockless bike sharing effects on healthcare, and urban noise from home-sharing platforms. These studies have been published in top journals like MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Marketing. She teaches modules on Data Analytics & AI, Digital Finance, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrencies across multiple MSc programs. Her work is supported by grants from the Gillmore Centre for Financial Technology and the Shanghai Pujiang Program.
