Yasemin Akdağ

Yasemin Akdağ is a Researcher at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Istanbul Technical University (ITU). She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences Engineering and Management (2022) and has been a Research Assistant since 2019. Her research focuses on water/wastewater treatment, waste management, and innovative treatment technologies. Key projects include cost evaluations of wastewater treatment plants in Istanbul and studies on ozonation processes for greywater and effluent treatment. She has contributed to advancements in aerobic granular sludge systems and microalgae-based bioethanol production.
