Yariv Brauner

Yariv Brauner is a Professor of Law and holds the Hugh Culverhouse Eminent Scholar Chair in Taxation at the University of Florida's Levin College of Law. He has taught at leading institutions including NYU, Northwestern, and ASU, and served as a Visiting Professor globally.

His research focuses on Corporate Taxation, International Taxation, and Mergers & Acquisitions, with particular emphasis on Tax Policy, Tax Treaties, and Dispute Resolution. Recent publications analyze taxation of data assets, digital economy challenges, and multilateral tax frameworks.

His academic work spans Tax Law, International Economic Law, and Arbitration, with subtopics including Transfer Pricing, Treaty Negotiations, and Global Tax Equity. He contributes to major tax publications and teaches courses in Taxation, Corporate Finance, and International Dispute Resolution.

He co-authored the leading casebook U.S. International Taxation – Cases and Materials (5th ed.) and serves as academic director for the Observatorio Iberoamerican de Tributacion Internacional, a founding initiative of the University of Florida.
