Yaqi Li is a Researcher at Aalborg University's Faculty of Engineering and Science within the Thermal Engineering department, specializing in Hydrogen and Electro-fuels. Currently active in cutting-edge energy storage research with multiple ongoing projects and recent publications.
Research interests focus on Lithium-Ion Batteries, Battery Degradation Mechanisms, and Solid Oxide Electrolysis systems. Their work bridges fundamental electrochemical processes with real-world applications in electric vehicles and renewable energy storage. Key research areas include battery health diagnostics, hybrid energy storage systems, and performance optimization under dynamic operating conditions.
Recent publications demonstrate expertise in analyzing battery degradation in real-life scenarios, AC/DC operation effects on electrolysis cells, and digital twin applications for battery aging diagnosis. The research output shows strong interdisciplinary connections between materials science, electrical engineering, and energy systems.
