Yaovi Mahuton Gildas Hounmanou

Yaovi Mahuton Gildas Hounmanou serves as an Assistant Professor in Veterinary Clinical Microbiology within the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. His research spans pathogen genomics from animal and aquatic environments, climate change implications on disease transmission (particularly cholera and Vibrio infections), and solutions-oriented approaches using omics tools to reduce antimicrobial resistance in low- and middle-income countries.
