Yansi Pérez is a Professor of Spanish and Associate Provost at Carleton College. Since joining the institution in 2009, she has contributed to academic administration and Spanish literature studies.

Her research focuses on Latin American literature, cultural studies, and memory theory, with a particular emphasis on Central American contexts. In 2019, she published Más allá del duelo, exploring alternative frameworks for understanding memory through interdisciplinary cultural analysis.
