Yanqi Wu

Yanqi Wu is a Regents Professor of Plant and Soil Sciences at Oklahoma State University. His research focuses on the genetic improvement of warm-season turfgrasses, including bermudagrass and switchgrass, emphasizing drought, salinity, and cold tolerance. He holds the Meibergen Family Professorship in plant breeding and has developed commercially significant cultivars such as ‘Latitude 36’, ‘NorthBridge’, and ‘Tahoma 31’.
