Yannick Dillen is a Professor of Management Practice in Entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School, where he also coordinates the Impulse Centre 'Growth Management for Medium-sized Enterprises' (iGMO). He holds visiting professorships at Ghent University, Universiteit Hasselt, and Université de Namur. His expertise spans high-growth start-ups, scale-ups, strategic risk management, and SME growth strategies.
He earned a Doctorate and Master's in Applied Economics from Universiteit Antwerpen. His research focuses on the dynamics of high-growth firms, including their sectoral impact, resilience during crises, and long-term sustainability. He publishes annually the Belgian High-Growth Monitor, analyzing Belgium’s fastest-growing companies.
Yannick teaches on MBA and executive programs, supervises in-company projects, and acts as a start-up coach. He contributes to advisory boards and frequently delivers keynote speeches on entrepreneurship and growth management. His work bridges academic research with practical business challenges, emphasizing actionable insights for firms and policymakers.
