Yannan Li is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Wollongong. She completed her Ph.D. at UOW in 2021 with examiners' commendation for an outstanding thesis.
Her research expertise encompasses blockchain security, cloud data protection, and cryptographic protocols. Current projects investigate MEV detection in blockchain networks and verifiable signatures for self-sovereign identity systems.
With over 50 publications and 2,437 citations, Li has produced two ESI highly cited papers. She serves as reviewer for IEEE TDSC and IEEE TIFS, and has received the ACISP 2021 Best Paper Award.
Li teaches courses in Python Programming and Research Methodology while supervising doctoral candidates in blockchain security. She secured significant funding including an ARC Linkage Project on adversarial machine learning defenses for UAV systems.
