Yanju Liu

Dr. Yanju Liu is a Senior Research Fellow at the Global Center for Environmental Remediation, School of Environmental and Life Sciences, The University of Newcastle, Australia. Her research focuses on environmental soil chemistry and remediation of contaminants including PFAS, heavy metals, and organic pollutants. She has contributed to understanding bioavailability, toxicity, and remediation strategies for soils and groundwater.

Dr. Liu holds a PhD in Environmental Remediation from the University of South Australia, preceded by a Bachelor in Environmental Science and a Master in Mineral Processing and Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, China. Her work spans multi-disciplinary fields such as contaminant chemistry, nanoparticle interactions, and waste valorization for environmental applications.
