Dr Yanhui Zhu (Cathy) is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance, University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol. Her expertise spans financial markets, financial technology, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
- Education: PhD in Economics from Cardiff University
Research Focus: Yanhui's recent work explores the interplay between government policies and corporate behavior, including topics such as:
- Government say-on-pay policies and their impact on managerial CSR engagement
- Quantitative easing effects on gold pricing
- Stakeholder influences on CSR disclosure practices
Teaching: She teaches modules on Principles and Practice of Banking, Economics of International Financial Markets, and Finance for Fintech, and co-leads the MSc Financial Technology program at UWE.
