Yang Liu, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in developing spatial multi-omics technologies, including DBiT-seq and Spatial-CITE-seq, which enable high-resolution analysis of RNA, proteins, and epigenetic markers in tissues. His research focuses on applying these techniques to study tumor microenvironments, neurological diseases, cardiovascular disorders, and developmental biology. Dr. Liu holds a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Riverside, and has conducted postdoctoral research at Yale since 2018 under Dr. Rong Fan.
