معرفی
Dr. Yana Izdebskaya is a Research Fellow in the Department of Fundamental & Theoretical Physics at the Australian National University (ANU). Her research focuses on advanced photonics, nonlinear optics, and the manipulation of light-matter interactions in liquid crystals and metasurfaces. She has led projects such as 'All-optical reconfigurable interconnects in nematic liquid crystals' (2011–2014) and contributed to 'Advanced photonics with flexible pixels in liquid crystals' (2013–2016).
Her work explores optical vortices, spatial solitons, and tunable metasurface devices. Key areas include magnetic-field-controlled optical phenomena, phase change materials, and adaptive optical systems. Izdebskaya's research integrates experimental and theoretical approaches to advance applications in photonics, optoelectronics, and nanotechnology.
Her articles highlight innovations in laser-induced surface structuring, liquid crystal dynamics, and metasurface engineering. Collaborations span global institutions, emphasizing soft matter physics and metamaterials. Grants and projects have supported investigations into light-matter interactions and optical waveguiding systems.
