Yan Lei is a Professor at the School of Big Data & Software Engineering, Chongqing University, China, specializing in software quality improvement through advanced fault localization, program repair, and testing methodologies. His research bridges software engineering with data science to address challenges in deep learning systems and hardware description language (HDL) programs, evidenced by extensive publications in CCF-A venues including ASE, FSE, and TSE.
Dr. Lei obtained his Ph.D. under Prof. Xiaoguang Mao at Chongqing University and conducted research at UC Davis with Prof. Zhendong Su. His educational background informs his interdisciplinary approach to software engineering challenges.
