Yan Ho Lee

Dr. Yan Ho Lee serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery (Otolaryngology) at Yale School of Medicine. She is a double board-certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specializing in both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the face.

Her research interests focus on investigating biomarkers corresponding to the aging process, studying the effects of various cartilaginous autografts in rhinoplasty, and optimizing facial fracture management. Her clinical work spans cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery, repair of traumatic facial defects, skin cancer removal with MOHS reconstruction, treatment for facial nerve paralysis, and nonsurgical treatments for facial aging.

Dr. Lee's publication record demonstrates a strong focus on craniofacial trauma epidemiology, surgical outcomes assessment, and innovations in medical education. Her recent work examines seasonal patterns in craniofacial trauma, comparative injury patterns between electric and pedal bicycles, and diversity in patient education materials.

As an educator, she is actively involved in teaching residents and medical students at Yale, contributing to the next generation of otolaryngologists and facial plastic surgeons.
