Yakubu Tsado

Dr. Yakubu Tsado is a Lecturer in Cyber Security and Smart Grid at the Department of Computing and Mathematics, Manchester Metropolitan University. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Smart Grid) from Lancaster University, where he received the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation Ph.D. Scholarship.

Dr. Tsado's publications highlight deep learning frameworks for intrusion detection, reinforcement learning in energy storage optimization, and OLSR routing protocols for resilient smart grid communication. His recent work integrates convex optimization and digital twin technologies to address security challenges in community energy trading systems.
