Yaakov Bar-Shalom is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Connecticut's Storrs campus. His research focuses on control systems, signal processing, and estimation theory with applications to tracking systems and sensor fusion. He has contributed to foundational work in probabilistic data association and Kalman filtering.
