Prof. Yaşar Baş is a full professor of Modern History at Bingöl University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He has held academic positions since 2009, progressing from Assistant Professor to Professor in 2020. His career includes roles at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University and non-academic experiences in archival work and teaching. He specializes in Ottoman administrative structures, historical architecture, and regional histories of Anatolia.
