Xueze Song

Xueze Song is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management at the Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science (ISM) within the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. He holds a PhD in Operations Management from the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a bachelor's degree in Management Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China.

His research focuses on healthcare operations with dual emphases: improving resource allocation and system coordination, and advancing decision-making methodologies. Notable works include optimizing threatened species management, enhancing clinical trial participant retention, and modeling pandemic containment strategies.
