Xueyu Hou

Xueyu Hou is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the University of Maine. She completed her Ph.D. at NJIT in May 2024 under the guidance of Dr. Tao Han. Her research focuses on applying machine learning to enhance network and IoT device performance, with recent work expanding into embodied AI. She leads the CyPAIS lab (Cyber Physical Artificial Intelligence Systems) to advance interdisciplinary research in AI-driven cyber-physical systems.
