Xu Jiang is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a BS from the University of Science and Technology of China. Prior to Duke, he served as an Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.

Research Interests: Focuses on banking regulation, optimal disclosure rules, economic consequences of accounting standards, strategic communication, tax incidence, and contracting. Recent work explores fair value accounting in banking, short-selling regulation, and ESG disclosure certification.
