Xu Feng

Dr. Xu Feng is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), affiliated with the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. As Principal Investigator of the Biomedical Optical Imaging Laboratory, she focuses on developing advanced optical imaging and elastography techniques for structural and functional tissue analysis, with clinical applications in disease detection and treatment. Her work integrates machine learning for accelerated biomedical translation.

Research Interests:
Ongoing work includes optical coherence elastography (OCE) for biomechanical imaging, Raman spectroscopy clinical translation, and machine learning-enhanced diagnostic tools. Collaborations with UT Southwestern Medical Center enable biomedical applications.
