Xiongfei Wang is a Professor at Aalborg University Energy within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. His research focuses on power electronics, grid stability, and data-driven control systems. He leads projects related to renewable energy integration and converter dynamics.

Scientific Awards include IEEE Fellow (2023), Isao Takahashi Power Electronics Award (2022), Richard M. Bass Outstanding Young Engineer Award (2018), and multiple IEEE conference best paper recognitions. He has served as Executive Editor for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics Letters and Vice Chair of IEEE PELS TC8.
PhD Supervision includes projects on fast charging stations, small-signal stability, and HVDC-connected wind farms. His work is funded through programs like EUDP and AAU Talent.
