Xin Zhong is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), affiliated with the College of Information Science & Technology (IS&T). He specializes in deep learning, machine learning, computer vision, and image processing, with a focus on robust watermarking techniques, adversarial training, and multimedia security. His work integrates computational intelligence into practical applications like medical imaging, disaster risk assessment, and smart city technologies.
Dr. Zhong serves as an advisor for PhD, MS, and undergraduate researchers and contributes to academic governance as a member of the Artificial Intelligence concentration committee and the Computer Science Department’s graduate program committee.
