Associate Professor Xin Wang is an academic in the School of Fashion and Textiles at RMIT University, Australia. He leads the nanotextiles research group within the Centre for Materials Innovation and Future Fashion. His work focuses on advanced fibrous materials, smart textiles, and sustainable textile technologies.
Education:
- B.E. and M.E. in Textile Science and Engineering from Wuhan Textile University (China)
- PhD in Materials Engineering from Deakin University (Australia)
Research Interests: His research integrates nanotechnology with textiles, developing functional materials for applications like chemical protection, energy-efficient fabrics, and biomedical textiles. He has secured funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Cotton Research and Development Corporation (Australia), and the Australian Research Council.
