Dr. Xilin Xia is an Assistant Professor in Resilience Engineering at the University of Birmingham's School of Engineering. He specializes in computational modeling of natural hazards and their impacts, focusing on flood risk management and infrastructure resilience. His research integrates high-performance computing, machine learning, and hydraulic/hydrological modeling.
