Xiaoting Xue is a Research Fellow and Doctoral student in Pure and Applied Biochemistry at the Centre for Analysis and Synthesis, Lund University. Her research focuses on polymer technologies, molecular recognition, and biosensing, with a particular emphasis on developing advanced materials for bacterial detection and nucleic acid analysis.
Her recent work explores the application of cationic polymer brushes, carbon dots, and boronic acids for bacterial detection and inactivation. She also investigates signal amplification strategies using molecularly imprinted polymers, hybridization chain reactions, and CRISPR-Cas12a systems, often combining these with fluorescence or electrochemical sensing techniques.
Xue's publications highlight interdisciplinary collaborations in analytical chemistry, material science, and biochemistry. Her research outputs include studies on polymer-based biosensors, dendritic fibrous silica nanoparticles, and dual-amplification systems for environmental monitoring, reflecting a strong alignment with modern nanotechnology and molecular diagnostics.
