Professor Xiaoli Chu holds the position of Professor in Wireless Communications at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Sheffield. She specializes in wireless communication systems, focusing on heterogeneous networks, unlicensed spectrum utilization, and 5G/6G radio access technologies. Her research includes books on heterogeneous cellular networks and femtocells, and she has received the IEEE Communications Society 2017 Young Author Best Paper Award.
