Xiaogang Su is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), within the College of Science. His research focuses on statistical methodology, including tree-structured models, causal inference, and machine learning applications in healthcare and data mining. He holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of California, Davis (2001) and a BS in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University (1995).
