Xiaodong Liu

Xiaodong Liu is a Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Brandeis University. His research focuses on applied statistical methodologies, particularly in developmental studies and child development. He holds an Ed.D. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, an Ed.M., and an M.Ed. from Northeast Normal University.

His academic interests include advanced statistical techniques such as multi-level modeling, structural equation modeling, and Bayesian methods, alongside longitudinal data analysis and latent class analysis. Dr. Liu has received grants including the Teaching Innovation Grant (2015-2016), Open and Affordable Educational Resources Initiative Grant (2017-2018), and the Freishtat FACET Grant (2019).
