Xiao-Wu Chen is a Full Professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China. His research spans derived categories, singularity theory, quantum groups, and noncommutative geometry. He holds visiting positions at Bielefeld University and Western Sydney University.
Research focuses on homological structures in algebra and geometry, including triangulated categories, Gorenstein rings, and representations of EI categories. Recent work develops connections between singularity categories and dg enhancements.
Selected Publications: Recent articles advance t-structure theory, Leavitt algebra structures, and homological invariants of noncommutative rings.
