Xia Xiao is a Professor at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, specializing in auditing and financial accounting. She holds a PhD from the University of Arizona, an MAcc from the University of Minnesota, and a BBA in Accounting from Lingnan University. Her research focuses on auditor expertise, audit-related disclosures, and regulatory effectiveness. She is licensed as a CPA in New York and Hong Kong, and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for top accounting journals.
