Dr Xia Han is a Lecturer in Digital Innovation Management at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London. He joined the Operations and Information System Management Group in May 2021, bringing nearly a decade of corporate experience in Automotive, Media, and IT industries across Europe and Asia. With a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University and an MSc in Analysis, Design, and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics (LSE), his academic foundation aligns closely with his research focus on digital innovation and supply chain management.

Dr Han’s research centers on multi-sided platforms, commercialization of emerging technologies, servitization, and supply chain management. His publications focus on blockchain applications in supply chains, platform-based operations, and digital co-creation. He has contributed to journals like International Journal of Operations & Production Management and book chapters in the Springer Books Series, reflecting interdisciplinary trends in digital innovation and service management.
Dr Han teaches modules in Technology Management and Professional Consultancy, with office hours on Wednesdays. His work bridges academic research with industry practice, leveraging his corporate background to inform pedagogy in digital innovation.
