Xenia Mamakou is a Teaching Professor at the Department of Business Administration within the School of Business at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where she contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education in Business Informatics, Decision Making, Business Analytics, Information Systems, and the Internet. She is actively involved in the Business Informatics Laboratory (BILab) and coordinates an eLearning course at AUEB’s Center for Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM).

- PhD: Information Systems from AUEB’s Department of Business Administration
Her research focuses on business analytics, information systems management, and digital transformation, particularly examining the organizational and social implications of technology use. Her scholarly output includes over 30 publications in journals and conference proceedings, with recent work exploring IT capabilities in elderly care, agile methodologies in software development, and AI adoption behaviors.
Her publications demonstrate sustained engagement with both technical and sociological aspects of digital systems, spanning topics like ERP implementation, e-commerce satisfaction metrics, and the metaverse’s business implications. The articles emphasize interdisciplinary approaches to technology integration across healthcare, banking, and education sectors.

She serves on AUEB’s Teaching and Learning Support Committee and Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee, and has been Treasurer of the AUEB Faculty Association since 2021.
