Xavier Triado Margarit

Xavier Triado Margarit is an Associate Professor in Microbiology at the University of Girona and a contracted researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies of Blanes (CEAB-CSIC). His work spans microbial ecology, environmental microbiology, and microbiome studies, focusing on aquatic and aerial ecosystems, including high mountain lakes, saltwater lagoons, and indoor environments.

Projects & Collaborations: Participated in 8 national research projects (1 ongoing), served as a reviewer for 15 international journals, and evaluated scientific proposals for Argentina's ANPCyT. His publication record includes 33 SCI journal articles (27 in Q1 journals) and 7 book chapters.
