Xavier Ottavy

Xavier Ottavy is a Researcher at the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics (LMFA - UMR 5509) in Lyon, France, affiliated with Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 and the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research). He is part of the Turbomachines (TU) team, focusing on research in aerodynamic instabilities, aeroelasticity, and control mechanisms in turbomachinery systems. His work addresses challenges in compressor flow dynamics, including corner separation, stall, and surge phenomena in high-speed axial and centrifugal compressors.

As a member of the LMFA, Ottavy contributes to experimental and numerical investigations of unsteady flows, rotor-stator interactions, and flow control strategies.
