Xavier Ballart

Xavier Ballart is a Professor of Political Science and Administration at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where he also earned his PhD. He holds a Master in Public Affairs from Indiana University and has taught at institutions including the College of Bruges and the University of Montpellier. His academic roles include directing the Department of Political Science and Public Law, coordinating the UAB-UB-UPF Master's in Public Management, and editing the Spanish Journal of Political Science.

His research focuses on public service motivation (PSM), public service performance analysis, and administrative burden.
