Dr. Wytze Lenstra is a Researcher in the Geochemistry department within the Geosciences school at Utrecht University. His work focuses on marine sediment biogeochemistry, particularly studying iron and manganese cycling in coastal systems, the Black Sea, and the Baltic Sea. He has published extensively on sediment-water interactions, nutrient cycling, and redox processes in marine environments.
Dr. Lenstra's research interests center on biogeochemical cycling of metals and nutrients in marine sediments. His work examines how iron, manganese, and phosphorus interact in coastal systems, particularly under varying oxygen conditions.
